Environmental concerns: Residents protest poor sanitation in town

Residents held a protest demonstration against the Shahpur Chakar town committee for poor sanitation in the town.

SHAHPUR CHAKAR: Residents held a protest demonstration on Tuesday against the Shahpur Chakar town committee for poor sanitation in the town. They shouted slogans against the local administration and burnt tyres while blocking the road for four hours. Taking notice of the protest, Sanghar DCO instructed the taluka officer to hold talks with the protesters. After the talks and assurance of prompt response, the protesters dispersed peacefully.
