Dangerous waters: Three drown in Korang River

ISLAMABAD: Three picnickers drowned in Korang River near Bhara Kahu on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as Mohammad Saeed, Mohammad Shafiq and Mehmood, reportedly came to swim in the nullah during which they drowned, said a local police official. The three worked Sector I-10/3. Saeed was a salesman, Shafiq worked as a professional driver while Mehmood was a labourer.The bodies of the deceased could not be recovered till the filing of this report.
