Armed assault: Two shot dead in Quetta, Naushki

QUETTA: Two people were killed in separate incidents of firing in Quetta and Naushki districts on Monday.

According to police sources, Sardar Naimatullah opened fire and killed a man named Aminullah on Sabzal road in Quetta.

“The accused fled from the scene after committing the crime,” police said.

The body has been shifted to Civil Hospital for autopsy where doctors claim the deceased received one bullet in chest. Police claimed that the accused shot the deceased to settle a personal score.

Meanwhile, unknown attackers opened fire on a truck laden with LPG gas travelling from Taftan to Quetta near Haji Shair Jan area of Nushki district.

As a result, Noor Muhammad, the truck driver, received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.

The attackers managed to escape from the scene.

Levies force rushed to the site and shifted the body to a district-run hospital for autopsy. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
