Eid exception: Govt to release salaries earlier

KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to give salary to all Muslim government employees and pensioners in advance on the eve of Eidul Fitr. According to a notification issued by the finance secretary Sohail Rajput, the Sindh government has decided to fully pay the allowances and pension for the month of July in advance to Muslim employees and pensioners on July 24 instead of August 1. He said that decision was taken to facilitate the employees as the Eid is likely to fall on July 29.
