Poll crisis
The minister said that rigging did not occur in the 2013 general elections. In fact, the elections were billed as far more transparent and fair than previous elections by reputed international observers such as PILDAT, FAFEN and UNDP, he added.
Rashid said Imran Khan’s allegation that National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) had set up a cell in COMSATS to manipulate election results were baseless. He added that election records and ballot boxes were in possession of the Election Commission and NADRA had nothing to do with it.
Imran, he said, had been beating about the bush. Earlier, the PTI chief claimed that a brigadier of military intelligence was involved in the rigging but did not reveal his name. He then claimed that Nawaz Sharif’s victory speech was part of the rigging process and subsequently blamed returning officers.
The minister said no crisis was going to engulf the country as a result of the tsunami march because the people would forget about the ‘jalsa’ (meeting) the very next day.
He said the PML-N had no objection to the PTI’s long march but only the national flag should be raised on Aug 14.

@Malveros: Bro, If PMLN won so cleanly, then they should have no objection to verifying 4 constituencies. After all the results will back them up, right? The fact that they don't only shows that they have something to hide.
This is beyond ridiculous, Pervaiz Rashid is a lunatic. 'accepted the United States formula ... while his politics were based on Anti-American politics'. He wants an audit for the elections, how in God's name is that favouring American policies? Their panic is becoming pretty apparent by the day. If PML-N even plans to defend their miserable position, at least hire someone who will not make an absolute fool out of themselves.
Bhai, If you are that confident then conduct the audit and let them fall forever, if you win. Literally, I am fed up of this stubbornness and discussions on the same topic in talk shows. One thing I don't understand, are they scared that recounting of the same will produce a different result? If not then why so worried.
@Malveros.....How can you know so many people have rejected him.....If PML(N) is so true why don't they allow the opening of the four constituencies.....All elections should be free and fair otherwise what is the difference between democracy and dictatorship.......
This oldie should seek forgiveness from Allah rather than playing blame game - blame game one of the only few things that pmln is experienced in after road construction.
@asdf: PTI being a loser cannot be a chooser. Hence no need for opening 4 constituencies. IK is not in a position to impose his will on the majority of the people who have rejected him.
If you are so truthful and there was no rigging, then why reject the audit? Infact, I personally feel that for every elections from now, there should be an audit of votes to eliminate accusations of rigging. Unfortunately, our dear 'leaders' won't accept it. How else would they win? PMLN is clearly scared.
What is this toothless sher (pun intended) going to do next? Drive a Water Car? O' come to think of it, he has already done that courtesy the brilliant anchor Humid Pir's show!!!
If that is not enough, look at this imbecile put his foot in his mouth in the following clip--he does not even know the difference between Stanford university in the US and Stansted airport in the UK.

LOL! Pervez Rasheed is literally squealing out of fear! If you didnt want the long march, why didnt you open up the 4 constituencies? What are you so scared of? What's concealed in those 4 constituencies that you do not want to get out at all costs?
