Batting first, Touchme CC made 170 for nine in 20 overs as Latif, named best batsman, struck 43 off 20, hammering four sixes and three boundaries, while Shahid, who was adjudged man-of-the-final later, scored 41 with two sixes. Man of the tournament Jehandad Khan claimed two wickets.
In reply, AO clinic were bowled out for 137 in 20 overs. Abdul Rauf top-scored with 27 whereas Sohail Khan and Shahid bagged three wickets apiece.
Touchme CC won Rs 500,000 while AO were awarded Rs250,000 for runners-up spot. Saadat Muneer received the award for best bowler.
“It has been an exceptional win from Touchme CC as we defeated star-studded sides with our combined team efforts on our way to clinching the title,” Latif told The Express Tribune.
