Volatile Marriage : Woman commits suicide

BAHAWALPUR: A girl committed suicide on Saturday after being beaten by her husband. Rahim Yar Khan police said the 17-year-old had frequently argued with her husband. They said on Friday night, the couple quarrelled again and her husband beat her. They said the girl locked herself in a room and took poisonous pills. They said her husband broke the door to the room the next day and found her lying unconscious. She was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival, police said.
