No sympathies, please

Letter November 08, 2010
Muslims have trouble adjusting for their belief that their religion is the only true belief system.

SAN DIEGO, CA, US: I write in response to your report, “Islamophobia like 1930s anti-Semitism: Islamic forum head” (November 5). Muslims everywhere have trouble adjusting for one simple reason — the belief that their religion is the only true belief system. In addition, they want one set of accommodations for themselves, but at the same time do not want to accord this to minorities who live in their midst.

Also, I don’t understand why so many Muslims who live in Europe and North America want to change the culture of the host nation instead of trying to adapt. I would say that this rising Islamophobia has been caused by their own actions. No sympathies here.
