QUETTA: Three male members of a family – a father, his son and grandson — were gunned down along with a relative in front of a mosque in Mehmoodabad area of Satellite Town on Friday. The victims were coming out from the mosque after Friday prayers when armed men opened fire on them. All four died on the spot. The bodies were shifted to Provincial Sandeman Hospital for autopsies where they have been identified as Haji Ibrahim, his son Mohammed Ayub, grandson Faiz Mohammed, and their relative Mir Ahmed. “Police are investigating the case,” Capital City Police Officer Abdul Razzaq Cheema told The Express Tribune. He said one of the deceased, Haji Ibrahim, was among the people nominated in the murder of an activist of an anti-drugs organisation who was killed a few months ago.
