One FC personnel injured in blast in Quetta
According to police, a remote-controlled bomb was used in the attack targeting an FC vehicle.

A Frontier Corps (FC) personnel was injured after their patrolling vehicle was attacked with a remote controlled roadside bomb on Mastung-Karachi Road, Quetta, on Friday.
According to Shalkot Station House Officer Jahangir Shah, two FC vehicles were on routine patrolling in Shalkot area on Mastung-Karachi road when it came under attack.
“A remote controlled IED was planted besides the road by unknown persons. They detonated it when FC vehicles passed by. A FC man sustained minor injuries and he is in stable condition,” Jahangir Shah told The Express Tribune.
FC personnel cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
“Around six kilogrammes of explosive material was used in the explosion,” an official of the Bomb Disposal Squad said.
