Charsadda: 3, including wife, husband shot dead

Unidentified persons barged into Zareen’s house and opened fire.

CHARSADDA: Three persons, a man his wife and his nephew were shot dead at their home in Charsadda on Thursday, while a minor was critically injured in the incident that was being dubbed honour killing. Police official from Nisata police station, Farhad Khan, said that the victim Khyal Zareen had migrated from Khyber Agency about five years ago. Zareen, who belonged to Malikdeen Khel tribe of Bara, had married Sabila without consent of her parents, and was living in Tolandi area of Nisata Charsadda. On Thursday at about 3:00pm unidentified persons barged into Zareen’s house and opened indiscriminate fire killing him, his wife, and nephew Niaz Amin. Zareen’s three year old daughter was critically injured.
