Old enmity: Boy dies in shooting by rivals

Khalid and another child, Hamza, were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A 10-year-old boy died and two others received bullet injuries in a shooting incident on Wednesday. Kot Momin police said Muhammad Khalid, a resident of Chak 10-SB, had a dispute with Omer Farooq and Talha among others. On Wednesday, Khalid and some of his relatives were travelling to their village when their rivals Farooq, Talha and four of their accomplices ambushed them and shot at them.  Abbas died on the spot. Khalid and another child, Hamza, were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
