Grenade Attack: Woman killed, four children injured

GHALLANAI: A woman was killed and six others, including four children, suffered injuries in a grenade attack on a house in Sheikh Baba, Safi tehsil, Mohmand Agency early Tuesday morning. A political administration official said the attack took place at 1:30am, claiming that Yar Jan, along with an accomplice, lobbed a hand grenade at the residence of Saeed Kaki. The explosion killed Kaki’s wife instantly, while four of his children and two other men suffered injuries. The wounded were taken to a hospital, while the administration arrested two members of Yar Jan’s group. A land dispute is believed to be the motive behind the attack.
