QUETTA: Unidentified captors have freed a boy who had been abducted from Dalbandin some seven months ago. “Unknown men freed the missing boy, identified as Abdul Qahir on Sariab Road,” police sources said. Although Qahir has reached home, his family refuses to give further details. Separately, a team of Levies force and police led by Barkhan’s assistant commissioner raided a hideout and arrested three suspects including an alleged head of a kidnapping gang. In another incident a boy died after falling into a well whereas his brother received injuries. According to police, the boy was working beside a well in their house in the Qambrani road area of Quetta on Monday. “He slipped into the well and his brother jumped in to rescue him,” a police official shared.
