KARACHI: Experts at Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) and the Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) are scheduled to meet soon. The agenda for the meeting includes the finalisation of a roadmap for the promotion of e-commerce for the SMEs to enable them to sell their goods and services online without any impediments. “We will share with UNISAME our expertise on online business to business portals to facilitate and support the entrepreneurs for online branding and develop efficient strategy,” said Meer Anwar, head of the eBDS directorate at SMEDA. UNISAME President Zulfikar Thaver emphasised the need for collaboration and said that the union looks forward to a mutual collaboration to achieve the best exposure for SMEs. “We are determined to afford opportunity to every SME that desires to sell his/her wares online on the internet and avail e-commerce facilities,” said Thaver.
