Acting Sindh IGP Ghulam Haider Jamali appreciated the police officials in Karachi, Shikarpur and Khairpur over their performance and announced a reward of Rs1.2 million for them on Sunday. He announced Rs200,000 each for two police teams in Karachi for killing four suspected bandits in encounters. Similarly, another Rs500,000 was announced for a police team of Shikarpur where three suspected robbers were killed and arms were recovered in an encounter within the limits of Sultan Kot police station. Moreover, the police team in Khairpur that recovered two abducted persons in an encounter and killed two kidnappers received another Rs300,000.
