QUETTA:

Four people were killed when a jeep collided with a car at the Alamo Chowk near the airport on Friday.

Police sources confirmed that the Parado was over speeding when it dashed into a car killing four people and injuring another.

Bodies of the victims—Zain Uddin, Shah Zaman, Daud Jan and Hussain Ahmed—were shifted to the Frontier Corps Hospital Quetta.

Meanwhile, a man and his teenage son were gunned down in Kalat district, about 145 kilometres off Quetta.

According to an official of Balochistan Levies in Kalat, unidentified persons opened fire at Raheem Baksh and his 17-year-old son Sannuallh in Kalat bazaar area.

“People have seen who had killed them in broad daylight in Kalat city area but no one is willing to record the statement or become a witness,” an official of Balochistan Levies said.

The bodies were handed over to the heirs after legal formalities. Levies personnel have registered the case against unidentified persons.
