PESHAWAR: A man died and another was seriously injured after they fell into a well at Pandho Chowk on Thursday. Rescue 1122 spokesperson Bilal Faizi told The Express Tribune Bakhat Zameen accidentally fell into the well and was seriously injured. Another man, Ali Rehman, tried to rescue Zameen but also fell in while trying to reach out to him with a rope. People nearby alerted Rescue 1122 whose personnel pulled out the injured men and took them to Lady Reading Hospital. Zameen, 32, however, succumbed to his injuries after fighting for his life for two hours. Rehman’s condition is also said to be critical.
