Demand For Relief: ‘Fix paddy price at Rs1,200 per maund’

TALHAR: Local growers have demanded the government to fix the paddy price at Rs1,200 per maund, that is equal to almost 38 kilogrammes. Members of Sindh Abadgar Board said that their paddy crop has been adversely affected because of a shortage of water. They justified their demand by adding that the prices of seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides had risen. They asked the government to provide relief to the paddy growers.
