Lahore court sends Gullu Butt on 6-day physical remand
Butt, an active member of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), will be kept in police custody at Faisal Town police station.
He was earlier sent on a 14-day judicial remand on the orders of the magistrate two days after the violent clashes at Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Model Town.
Butt was caught smashing cars during the clash between PAT workers and the police outside the Minhajul Quran International Secretariat.
He smashed windscreens and windows of private vehicles with his club, while police officials looked on and the vandalism continued unabated.

Gullu Butts's police remand means nothing as he is with his friends only. He must be enjoying his friends' (police_ hospitality.
While PAT workers are tried under Anti Terror Law, Gullu Butt has very weak charges. Shahbaz Sharif will ensure he gets out of jail soon and the judiciary will oblige.
Poor Gullu Butt... tried to make is boss Sharief brothers happy but trapped....exemplary punishment is must.
Look in the Picture, he is smashing window of cars, at least hundred of Police men standing there watching him, and not tried to even stopped him, CM , Please advise,as he is an active member of PMLN....
He must be sent to Peshawar jail for physical remand.
