LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday acquitted a man charged with murdering his daughter for converting to Islam to marry a Muslim man. George Masih was acquitted after the witnesses and complainant refused to recognise George Masih as the suspect. George Masih was accused of murdering his daughter Rina after she converted to Islam. His son Yawar Masih had filed the complaint against his father with Ghalib Market police. Police registered a murder case and submitted a challan against him in court.
