Trade exhibition planned in Dubai
Huge potential exists for business between Pakistan, UAE.
ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Trade Development Authority is organising the Pakistan Trade exhibition with the help of Pakistan-UAE business Forum in Dubai. Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Vice President Munnawar Mughal along with other businessmen called on Prime Minister’s Special Envoy in UAE.
Highlighting the importance of expanding the business to business interaction between the communities of both countries, Ambassador Javed said that there was huge potential for further enhancement. “Our business communities can play a vital role in this regard, particularly in exploring ways to expand our trade with the UAE and the Gulf region,” said Javed.
He pointed out that in view of the evolving dynamics of modern economies, countries are now adopting a “regional approach” towards trade, and as such he recommended that FPCCI may establish a dedicated body that focuses on the gulf region with a clear mandate to identify areas in which Pakistani exports can be further increased and trade upgraded.
