Alia Bhatt: From high school to Highway

Alia Bhatt, who has given back-to-back hits since her debut Student of the Year, feels she has grown as an actor.

“When I started working, I was just 17 and now I am 21. This is like a period when I am growing up. It has been a strange experience for me as I feel I have grown up too fast and at times, I feel like a child,” said Bhatt, reported the Hindustan Times.

The Highway star feels privileged for having had the opportunities to work with the best directors of the industry. “I felt a change in my personality and I also feel the growth as an actor. I have had the privilege of working with Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali, Abhiskek Verman and Shashank Khaitan. I have learnt a lot from all of them,” she added.

“I am happy with the choices I have made so far. As for making friends, hopefully I have not made any enemies. I have made some very strong friends,” she said.

Varun Dhawan and Bhatt, who earlier costarred in Student of the Year, have once again paired up for Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya. The movie also features Sidharth Shukla and Ashutosh Rana in key roles.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film will hit theatres on July 11.
