Family disputes: Two men shot dead in separate incidents

The local police have taken the suspect into custody and started investigation.

Two men were shot dead on Saturday in separate incidents in Mandra.


In the first incident, a man allegedly shot his father-in-law over a family dispute. The local police have taken the suspect into custody and started investigation.

The suspect, Asghar, went to his in-law’s house to talk to his wife, who had left his house a few days earlier over a family issue. While arguing with his wife, he pulled out his pistol and opened fire.

The bullet hit her father and he died on the spot. The family overpowered him and handed him over to police.

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man was killed over a minor issue in Dera Khalsa Syedan.

Naseer Abbas and four others were standing outside his house when Nawazish Ali, Ijaz and Zawar allegedly opened fire at them. One of the bullets hit Abbas and he died on the spot.

Itrat Shah told the police that his son was standing with a construction worker when they shot him dead. They killed his son over a monetary issue.

The victims were taken to hospital and later the bodies were handed over to their families.
