Notice sent: Warning issued to private guards

KARACHI: Sindh home secretary Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi issued a letter to the IG police asking him to take action against the private security guards who harass citizens. The letter was issued following a number of complaints about the aggressive behaviour of armed guards escorting VIPs. The letter further said that non-compliance of the home secretary’s instructions by the escort personnel will be taken seriously.
