Road accidents: Infant among two killed

RAWALPINDI: Two people including an infant died in traffic accidents in the Morgah. The police said that Bilal and Shamsher were going on a motorcycle, when a van rammed into the bike from the rear. As a result of the collision, Bilal died on the spot while Shamsher sustained serious injuries. Meanwhile, an infant died on the road after falling from a moving rickshaw when it was hit by a speeding truck. The mother of the child was injured in the incident. The truck driver fled the scene. The police have registered cases in both the cases and further investigation is under way.
