Target killing: Political worker shot dead

Zeeshan was standing at his brother’s juice centre when two armed men on a motorcycle shot him multiple times.

KARACHI: A worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was shot dead in an act of target killing in Hussainabad, within the limits of Azizabad police station. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Zeeshan, son of Iqbal, who was a resident of Federal B Area Block-3. Police officials said that Zeeshan was standing at his brother’s juice centre when at least two armed men riding a motorcycle came close to him and shot him multiple times. The perpetrators fled the scene, while the victim died on the spot. His body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The police believe the victim may have been targeted due to some political enmity. They have yet to register a case.
