LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has called for an all parties conference (APC) on June 29, Express News reported on Thursday.
Qadri said the subject of the APC is the killing of his innocent supporters during the Model Town clashes between the police and his supporters.
Refuting allegations that he was going to form a grand alliance, Qadri said that it was never on his agenda.
“We have never indicated making a grand or simple alliance, nor have we ever spoken about it,” he said.
He clarified that the overthrow of the present Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz government is not his only agenda.
“Our agenda is to bring change in the current system,” he said.
Qadri left the press conference in the middle leaving Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Ellahi addressing the media.

The brutality at Model Town has put Pakistan in pain and on top of it government minister's covering up of it is highly shameful.
Dr Qadri is doing the right thing, in current system there is no room for change, Everyone knows that the elections were not held according to the constitution, Article 218, 62 ,63 were ignored. System in which elections are rigged, courts cant provide justice, that must be overthrown first , only than some change is possible.

Not people of Pakistan, only people of GT road. Even that is questionable due to massive rigging allegations. At least start with correct facts if you are going to deliver a moral lecture.
Also people did not vote current government in to shoot innocent people and to curb their constitutional rights including of congregation. This makes the government illegitimate and illegal. In another country the government would have resigned itself over such a horrendous incident as Model Town but not this shameless government.
I think this is good for PMLN Government. These things will keep them at bay and continue to work through development and addressing issues instead of like PPP when PMLN became a friendly opposition and result is in front of us.

Sir Qadri Saheb: People of Pakistan has given mandate to PML(N) to rule this country for some next years according to the constitution of Pakistan. Please do respect that mandate. If you do not like constitutions, please go somewhere else. We already have tons of problems here, and the last thing this country needs a call for a revolution..

While army is giving their lives to protect Pakistan these selfish leaders have their own agendas. They claim they support the army, blah, blah, b..lah, but their action been nothing but a distraction. This is the time to cut nonsense and stay behind the army. They are the one who provide protection to these crooks.
I condemn the Model Town incident and deaths & injuries of common people. But still Tahirul Qadri should not try to derail the system. He should not incite PAT supporters on violence. Pakistan can not afford further turmoil.
