Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak has announced compensation under the Shahuda package for victims of the firing incident who were onboard at a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight on Tuesday night.

According to a statement issued, the family of the deceased woman will get Rs0.5 million while the families of the two injured will receive Rs0.2 million each.

CM Khattak also directed the authorities concerned to arrange for early payment of the financial aid. He said while the money cannot compensate for the precious human life lost and those injured, it is a symbol of sharing the loss of the affected families.

Meanwhile, Khattak condemned the incident and said the attack on people coming home from overseas to take revenge for the North Waziristan operation is a heinous crime that has no justification and will not be allowed. He expressed sympathy for the families and prayed for the deceased and injured.

He says to take revenge for the military operation while no group has accepted responsibility or said anything of the kind.Doesn't it confirm that PTI is the spokesman for TTP and other militant organizations?
