It seems Ryan Seacrest is nowhere near the end in his pursuit for host stardom. The 39 year old has officially landed his fourth hosting gig on US broadcaster CBS, making him the only person in America to have hosting spots on all four major American broadcasters, according to Hollywood Reporter.
Seacrest, who has been a part of America’s entertainment industry since the early 90’s, gained this prestige on Tuesday, with CBS’s confirmation that he will be both hosting and producing Fashion Rocks, a two-hour primetime special that will go on air on the network in September 2014. This is Seacrest’s first on-air deal with CBS, and his fourth partnership with the Big Four broadcast networks in America.
He has already been hosting Fox’s talent competition American Idol since 2002, ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve since 2005 and has an established relationship with NBC, which has been extended for one more year, and includes hosting major awards show red carpets in 2015, and contributions to E! News amongst other duties.
Besides television, Seacrest also hosts his own morning radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest on LA commercial radio station KIIS-FM, and was also previously involved with NBC News’ Today Show or NBC Sports, although that is no longer part of the extended deal.
