Armed assault: Two women killed in Dargai

Injured taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Dargai, later shifted to hospital in Peshawar.

DARGAI: Two women were killed and a man injured by unidentified assailants in Dargai tehsil of Malakand early Monday morning. An official of Dargai Levies said Najimullah, a resident of Kharkai, Dargai, was sleeping in his house along with his family when armed men barged in and opened indiscriminate fire. The official said as result, Najimullah’s wife and sister-in-law were killed on the spot while Najimullah was critically injured. The injured was taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Dargai from where he was later shifted to a hospital in Peshawar. The official said a case was filed against unidentified attackers and an investigation is under way.
