Behind her back: Husband accused of extramarital affair

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Monday sought an explanation from Sanda police after a woman filed a petition against her husband accusing him of having an extramarital affair. The petitioner, Nargis Mubarik, said she had married Mubarik Ali two decades ago. She said that after spending a few days at her mother’s home, she returned home to find Ali with Rashida Bibi in the drawing room. Upon inquiring, she said, she found out that her husband was having an affair with Bibi. She said police had refused to entertain her complaint against Ali. She requested the court to direct the Sanda station house officer to register a case against her husband.
