Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Sardar Mehtab Abbasi has expressed disappointment over purported moves to block the entry of displaced North Waziristan tribesmen into Sindh and Balochistan. “Tribesmen from North Waziristan Agency (NWA) were compelled to relocate from their homes and the nation should come forward to help them,” Abbasi was quoted as saying in a statement issued by Governor House on Sunday.
At a meeting of the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) in Peshawar on Sunday, party members and participants denounced Sindh and Punjab governments over the ban on the entry of IDPs, describing it as ‘unconstitutional’. The meeting was being chaired by QWP Chairman Aftab Ahmad Sherpao.
The governor, while visiting the offices for a helpline established to assist in relief activities, said that he was sure the federal government would provide all possible assistance to the tribesmen.

@Syed Ali Shah: Then Shah Ji leave Pakistan and join India. Then you will your real worth as part of India.
@Syed Ahmed:
And similar fate if not worst, awaits those in time, living in KPK, not conversant with Pashto language.

No IDPs from FATA should be allowed entry into Punjab or Sindh unless they can show vaccination certificates and allow a full search of their belongings for weapons. We know that militants have hidden amongst IDPs in the past and set up shop in Karachi.
Sindh cannot allow, everyone to enter the province. We are already dealing with all the illegal Afghanis who are roaming our streets, mostly involved in crimes and causing extra burden on a province that is already under-developed compared to Punjab. Punjab should be the place where the IDPs are accomodated as they have endless money and more than enough infrastructure to provide the IDPs with the services and shelter they need. Sindh cannot handle them, and that is why they will not be allowed to enter our province. All those who are whining about how this against the law, are probably sitting in their big air conditioned palaces in Lahore or are sitting pretty overseas, and trying to share their selective-wisdom. Thanks but no thanks.
@Ehsan...first of all...taliban (Who used to have dinner with US president)and now being called terrorist were created by Pakistan and US...whose fault was it?..and whose fault was it to create them in tribal area?...Polio has not been eradicated for last 65 years...whose fault is it?..obviously the propaganda started aginst polio started some 3 years ago...who takes millions of dollars from UN on the issue of Afghan IDP's?..please take responsibility...and if govenment do not want to spread all these evils..what government have done for them?..
These people have relatives in sindh and punjab,they want to go there...if punjab and sindh are not allowing them,then how come Pakistan is a federation?why we are living with each other for the sake of nothing?...IDP's severe condition is not covered by mainstream media,they have no food,no water,and no place to stay..fares have gone fourfold...and government is giving them 7000 rupees for a month...which is not enough for 2 days considering the large family system there..
@Syed Ahmed:
Pakistan refuses to accept them to this day. The refugees are still claiming they are Pakistanis and are refusing to accept Bangladesh citizenship. So do not put the blame on Bangladesh, it is entirely the fault of Pakistan which refuses to accept its own people.
The K-P governor should then accommodate the IDPs in the K-P province itself. Why do IDPs have to travel all the way from North Waziristan to Sindh and inhabit its capital city Karachi and other cities as well? is it just not easy for them to settle in Peshawar itself than spend a lot of money to travel to Sindh or Punjab?
How can the movements of citizens of Pakistan within the country be restricted in this manner? This is both unconstitutional and unethical. PML-N and PPP are playing games with Pakistan's future.
If someone has the wherewithal to go anywhere within the limitation of their IDs/passports/visas they cannot be stopped under international law. Of course in a large scale displacement the government has the right to direct people to special facilities they can avail but the people have the right to refuse the facility and make it on their own as long as they do not become public charges.It is a violation of human rights to herd people and force them to do something against their will.
Reminds me of how Urdu speaking people who had settled in East Pakistan, the operative word here being Pakistan, were denied entry to what was left of Pakistan after the creation of Bangladesh and left to languish in refugee camps in a limbo because they had opted for Pakistan and hence forfeited all rights to claiming Bangladesh citizenship. Many of them are still there.
Unfair treatment of PML-N want to put all the burden on KPK led Imran Govt. But they are also exposing themselves that they are not prepared..& playing unfair as these people are pakistani nationals..They are suppose to go where ever they want to ...
