Wapda’s Muhammad Asif scored the opening goal in the 42nd minute, while Zulfiqar Shah netted the second goal before the interval. Army replied through Sharjeel Vicky in the 68th minute. With the win, Wapda stretched their lead in the league and sit at the top with 47 points while Army stand second.
Meanwhile, Afghan FC’s goal by Jadeed Khan was equalised by Khayal Muhammad before a goalless second half. Pakistan Air Force won 1-1 against Young Blood FC, and Baloch FC stunned Sui Southern Gas Corporation 2-1.
