Tragic turn: Three of a family dead in road accident

The official added rescue workers moved the remains and the injured person to Women and Children Hospital.

HARIPUR: Three members of a family were killed while a man was severely injured when a car crashed into a tree on a roadside near Panian, Haripur on Sunday. According to the police, reckless driving resulted in the accident. An official said a three-member Afghan family was heading to Afghanistan from Panian refugee camp in a rented car. While negotiating a sharp turn, the driver who was speeding lost control of the vehicle and crashed the car into a tree. Muhammad Sadiq, Nazmeen Bibi and their four-year-old son Faisal died on the spot. The driver identified as Noor Alam sustained severe injuries. The official added rescue workers moved the remains and the injured person to Women and Children Hospital. However, the doctors there referred Alam to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad.
