Aisam, Rohan in ATP quarter-finals

Qureshi and Bopanna beat their opponents 7-6, 4-6, 14-12 in the ATP World Championship in Valencia.

VALENCIA: Aisam ul Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna on Thursday beat the pair of Jaun Monaco of Argentina and Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay, in the pre quarter-final match of the ATP World Tour Championship in Valencia.

Qureshi and Bopanna beat their opponents 7-6, 4-6, 14-12.

The Indo-Pak express will now face the Spanish team of Marc Lopez and Davis Marreo in the quarter-finals.

Last month, the pair had progressed to the quarter-finals of the ATP Kremlin Cup as well. However, they were defeated by Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki from Serbia at that stage.
