Traffic accident in Tank claims 3 lives

TANK: A collision between a motorcycle and a passenger van in Tank in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa left three people dead and three others injured on Friday, Express News reported.

The accident took place on Bannu Road, leaving three people on the motorcycled dead and three people in the passenger van injured.

The deceased were identified as Hamza, Anwar Khayyal and Khan Gul while the injured were identified as Dilawar, Mehroop and Sher Diraz.

Rescue teams reached the site and shifted the dead and the injured to a nearby hospital, where the injured were provided with medical assistance.

Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
