Following tip-off: Military uniforms seized in raid

MINGORA: Police on Wednesday recovered weapons and military uniforms from a house following information divulged by three suspects arrested earlier. Three alleged terrorists, including a foreigner, were arrested on a tip-off last Saturday in Melagh area of Mingora. The accused were said to be involved in target killings. According to the police, they raided a house in Yakh Koye area of Banr - identified by one of the suspects during the initial investigation. There, the police seized military uniforms, grenades, pistols, masks and a huge amount of ammunition. They also arrested the owner of the house. “They came to Swat for target killings of high-profile peace activists and elders in Mingora,” said an official.
