Corruption uncovered: NAB gives Rs1.45m cheque to BISE

NAB has already recovered Rs72 million in this case and handed it over to BISE, DI Khan.

PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Director General Shahzad Saleem handed a cheque of Rs1.446 million to Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), DI Khan Chairman Fazal Rabi on Tuesday. The amount was recovered by the bureau’s provincial chapter in a case of illegal procurement of land by BISE DI Khan ex-chairman Noor Muhammad. NAB received a complaint from the provincial government against the accused and others regarding corruption in acquisition of land for the BISE, DI Khan office. NAB has already recovered Rs72 million in this case and handed it over to BISE, DI Khan.
