Justice Khwaja Imtiaz Ahmad will take oath as chief justice of Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday (today). Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will administer the oath to Justice Ahmad at Governor’s House.
He will be the 42nd chief justice of the LHC. Born on March 30, 1953 in Pind Dadan Khan, Justice Ahmad obtained an LLB degree from Bahauddin Zakriya University, Multan. He was appointed additional district and sessions judge in 1992 and district and sessions judge in 2000. He was elevated to the LHC on September 15, 2009.
