Man Missing In Dubai: Court seeks foreign secretary’s reply
Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi resumed hearing of the plea, filed by retired income tax deputy commissioner Qurban Raja.
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court gave the Foreign secretary 10 days to reply to a plea seeking directions to the Pakistani consulate in Dubai to officially look into the disappearance of the petitioner’s son Omar Mateen with the UAE government. Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi resumed hearing of the plea, filed by retired income tax deputy commissioner Qurban Raja. During the course of hearing, Raja’s counsel apprised the bench that on March 2, the petitioner’s son went missing and his whereabouts are not known to anyone.
