Greener karachi: 300,000 saplings to be planted

Karachi Commissioner said the plantation campaign will help in maintaining greenery as well as keeping the city clean.

KARACHI: A plantation campaign has been organised by the city commissioner along with the Dawoodi Bohra community in the city with the aim of planting 300,000 saplings. The inauguration programme was held at Yousufi Mosque, Shabbirabad, by the Dawoodi Bohra community and the forest department. Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said the plantation campaign will help in maintaining greenery as well as keeping the city clean.
