A short hearing of this case was held today on the request of the federation submitted earlier.
In the hearing, the government requested the Supreme Court to hear the case tomorrow (Tuesday) as it is an important matter. However, Justice Saqib Nisar, who was heading the hearing, didn't make formal announcement over whether the Supreme Court will hold the hearing tomorrow on the government’s request or not.
On June 14, the federal government had appealed to the Supreme Court to stop the former president from travelling abroad insisting that he will not return to the country once he leaves.
The Sindh High Court (SHC) had ordered the removal of Musharraf’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL) on June 12, but had suspended this order for around two weeks giving the federal government time to appeal against the decision before the Supreme Court.

@Observer LoL. The term delusional is redefined in Pakistan.
@Naeem Khan Manhattan,Ks: "Personally I would like Mr.Musharraf to stay in Pakistan and face the courts and clear his name if he thinks he is innocent"
What is your problem man? Better Keep your personal wishes or hatred to yourself and start respecting the courts. Special court and Sindh high court has already granted him permission to travel. I am afraid What would you do if supreme court will also allow him? This is not good for your health mate.
Pakistan is facing war with terrorists and polio endemic causing polio vaccination requirements for travelers. In this context, the Porsche Polo Open arrangement? How bizarre .... Amir I Warraich former President Pakistan-Norway Association (PANA)
@Critical thinker Musharraf has not his rights? Oh my what a day, the right taker has not rights. Time changes fast, no, this man took right of life from Bugti, from peace, from young army men by reckless kargil move, right for Nawaz Shareef to attend his fathers funeral.
Aww same Musharraf. I hope he RIH
@Nida Alvi: So you are a better judge of whether Musharraf should leave and if that would be a violation of the trial than the special court itself which has ruled they have no objection to him traveling? This is what's wrong with Musharraf haters that they lose all sense of objectivity. The special court, and now the Sindh High Court both have ruled his name should be removed. Musharraf came to Pakistan himself and has rejected all offers by NS to leave, so rest assured his is not going to run away as there have been ample opportunities to do so.
Since his arrival in March 2013, Parvez Musharaf has been intimidated not only by Nawaz sharif and his group, but also the honorable courts have played their due roles in keeping Musharaf out of election, and subsequently harrasing him through baseless cases, and keeping the eyes of nation on non issues. While the Sindh High court has given him chance to travel abroad, I thing govt must not create further hurdles to let him meet his ailed mother, even on humanitarian basis.
@Naeem Khan Manhattan,Ks:
When you dont your rights than leaving some times is the best solution...!!!
If an accused of High Treason can be allowed to go abroad then all other 30,000 accused prisoners should also be allowed to go abroad. Musharraf case is a litmus test for democracy in Pakistan and to see whether the Doctrine of necessity is buried forever!
What is the hurry unless something else is going on. No one should be pushing the Supreme Court of Pakistan,let them take their time and decide the case on merit. Personally I would like Mr.Musharraf to stay in Pakistan and face the courts and clear his name if he thinks he is innocent. It is so below of an officer of Pakistan's finest Army to be using his mother as an excuse to fly the coop. He will not come back until some other military dictator takes over, our friends in Washington DC can't handle democracies in their client States.
@Abdul Hai: Sir, you made a mistake. It is Ishaque Fart, Not Ishaque Far.
Why can't the court order hearing case against Ishaq Far and Nawaz Sharif where Ishaq Far made confessional statement with the magistrate of money laundering he did for PMNS.
