This morning, three houses in the area were demolished as part of an anti-encroachment operation, causing people in the area to come out on the streets.
According to reports, protestors were not given a prior notice to vacate their houses, which were simply demolished today.
Angry residents stopped the Pakistan Express from Lahore and hurled stones at it breaking the train's windows.
Police arrived at the area soon after the incident; however, a scuffle broke out between them and the protestors.
The protests against Railways authorities are still ongoing.

Railways houses is not their personal property they should leave it for other railway workers ASAP. so those other workers who seeking house as worker of the PR will get the benefit of it.These protest are meaningless like blackmailing government's right decision.We should fully support the right decision of our government for the betterment of the people, worker, and institution.
