Busted: Eight suspects arrested in raids
Two men identified as Naeem and Zaheer Qureshi were arrested for their involvement in land grabbing.
KARACHI:
A married couple were among eight people arrested in the city in separate raids and encounters on Friday. Mansoor Ali and his wife were arrested in raid in Aurangabad, Nazimabad, by the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and the Special Investigation Unit for their alleged involvement in extortion. Two suspected militants were apprehended during a targeted raid by the Rangers in Mujahid Colony, Nazimabad.The Pak Colony police arrested a man identified as Murtaza in an injured condition and also recovered weapons from him. In Surjani Town, two men identified as Naeem and Zaheer Qureshi were arrested for their involvement in land grabbing.
