At least three people were injured when rockets landed on houses in Dadgari Gardens and Gulberg areas of Peshawar late Thursday night.


According to police, a rocket fell on a house near Syed Anwar Medical Centre, Dabgari Gardens, leaving three people injured. They were rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) and said to be in stable condition.

The other rocket fell near a house in Gulberg and exploded, causing damage to the structure. Fortunately, there was no human casualty.

On Friday morning, a third rocket was defused by the bomb disposal squad at Qayyum Stadium.

Police speculated all three rockets had been fired from Khyber Agency and landed with loud explosions in different parts of the city late in the night.
