The city was shut on the strike call of ASWJ in protest against murder of another ASWJ worker in Mach a few days ago. According to details, unidentified motorcycle riders opened fire on ASWJ activists at Manan Chowk killing Khalil Ahmed and injuring Zahor Ahmed and Shehzad. They were shifted to the Civil Hospital Quetta. The incident sparked fury among the ASWJ supporters, who staged a protest demonstration outside the hospital.
