Referring to Tahir-ul-Qadri’s announcement of returning to the country on June 23, the leaders said they would support Qadri’s cause and plan on forming a grand alliance to overthrow the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) government.
Further, Chaudhry Shujaat said they would consider asking Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to join their alliance.
During the conference, Rasheed stated that they will hold a historic long march on June 20 prior to Qadri’s arrival.
Rasheed had announced a ‘train march’ to protest against load-shedding, inflation and rising unemployment in the country, on May 11. Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi while talking to media stated that his party workers will participate in the train march.
However, on June 9, Pakistan Railways refused Rasheed’s request to reserve 200 seats on the special coach as political activity is not allowed on passenger trains.

Dirty agents of establishment
These rejected politicians can do nothing except agitation. Allah bless Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif.
Imran, Sheikh Rasheed, Shujjat and Canadian Moulvi are Puppets of Establishment.
No, no, no, People select you and given you a place with the name of Parliament, raise you voice over their instead of in roads. Sit in is not immediate solution of problems, sit in creates more problems for Pakistan.
Present Govt is stilling doing good job, they need time. Give then time (if not) then oppose the Govt in roads
@Silly Politics,
If this govt is allowed to complete it's tenure, by 2018 you won't see Pakistan on the Map. Trust me, I know what you dont....
They have the all-powerful backing of the agencies. The don't need seats.
Anything that will kick out the current government is highly desirable right now.
Dear Ch. Shujjaat et al: Please cut the crap..
@ Rasheed had announced a ‘train march’ to protest against load-shedding, inflation and rising unemployment in the country,
Idiots. They should have raised the issue of terrorism and security situation in Pakistan. All three issues have gotten old now and they have secured seats in parliament various times but haven't done anything practical.
Respected ET, why you don't mentioned in this news item that PTI chairman Imran already refused to be a part of this so called alliance?
about the only good thing Sheikh Rasheed can do is show up on TV everyday in random channels and rant against the govt. Mostly nuisance value, and no substance. They are trying to sit on the shoulder of another ranter from Canada. These are seasonal summer clouds - and they appear in Pakistan every May - July. They will fizzle out on their own.
Nonsense+nuisance=nonsensical nuisance.

Another attempt to destabilize Pakistan! They cannot win democratically. Creating mayhem with the help of Qadri would only add to the woes of the country. Why not let the present govt complete its tenure. If no govt would in the future be able to complete its term not only democracy is likely to be derailed but Pakistan could become ungovernable. For God's sake, think of Pakistan first.
lol alliance against a lol government. typical Pakistan.
Such a powerful alliance, I am shaking in my booties!
Qadri should be deported as soon as he lands at an airport and these two should be ignored.
@H.A. Khan: But the end was entertaining. Wasn't?
WOW 3 Seats in National Assembly & 5 in Senate all together. What a powerfull alliance. These guys surely do know how to stay in the media & its lime light.
Who is backing you?
They are not even a Tanga alliance. In all they have 3 seats in N.A.
Look at your past look at your class not even worth boot polishing-too old.
I think govt should let sh rashid go ahead with his train march and qadri run another show...
There was an Indian movie by the name of Three Idiots
Two turkeys do not make an eagle
@ Chaudhry brothers, Sheikh Rasheed to form grand alliance against govt OMG... WHAT A POWER FULL ALLIANCE Every leader playing with public.. God bless Pakistani public...
