Sera-e-Saleh police quoted 16-year old Amna* as saying that the victims had a property dispute with their relatives and their case had been taken up by the court.
The two women had hired a thresher on June 9 for their wheat crop which was delivered to their land through the disputed passage, infuriating the rival party leading them to pelt the women with stones.
"They dragged us naked on the ground, kicking and punching us. They have destroyed our lives after exposing our naked bodies to the villagers," said Amna*, her eyes welling up while speaking to the media.
The second victim, 34-year old Noor*said, “I feel totally humiliated, and do not feel any worth of my life when I have lost my honor.”
She added she had lost faith in the law after going through the degrading episode.
Noor* also demanded that the accused be severely punished.
After hearing their cries, people from the area took the undressed women to their homes, the victims told the police.
The police have registered a criminal case against the 11 accused under section 147, 148 and 354 A, and arrested them on Tuesday.
The accused were brought before the court on Thursday and were sent to the Haripur jail on judicial remand.
*The names of the victims have been changed to protect their identity.

Where is KPK government of PTI? PTI is busy is non-issues and ignoring their province.
Im in utter awe after reading this, what a barbaric act.
@Tareen PTI didn't do it, culprits did. KPK police arrested 11 criminals before you could read the news, and put them behind bars. Something like this you can only imagine in interior Punjab and interior Sindh
Shameful abuse and blasphemy against Islam, Muslim culture, and Pakistanis. ET, do your job and remove hateful comments by Indians. Why are you censoring my comments?
Do you hear any Muslim or Pakistani calling any forced conversion of all Hindus due to the gang-rape of an Indian women by Hindu policemen? Indians, behave.
I am surprised a town called Haripur exists in present day Pakistan. No calls for a name change?
@Humza:
Let me guess, you never read 6th century history. Did you?
To get the country back, the PEOPLE have to rise up and fight back. There is no other way. or For every other way, its too late. RISE UP AND FIGHT. U NEED INQALAB.
These beasts should be brought to justice and handed down severe punishment for this barbaric act.
Any country that attaches a religious adjective before its name is making an linguistic error. People have a religion. States do not. Pakistan should be called only Pakistan.
Would be good if the women draw the natural conclusion: Islam is not for them!
disgusting pakistani men.............. and their wonderful law will set them free.... failed...so badly failed.............
Good people of pakistan, look at the bright side, worse things happen in india
@Newbie, point noted. All I was trying to say is that a nation created in the name of Islam has such regard for a woman's honor. Not too long ago, we had Lahore incident where a pregnant woman was killed in the name of honor. I know Islam has nothing to do with gender-specific violence, yet as Muslims we need to do more to save the 'honor' of women. Time and time again, we read similar stories but how often do we read stories about people trying to protect or save women from such atrocities. Unfortunately, many Pakistanis (Muslims or non-Muslims) tend to stand around and do nothing to help or save these women while they get stripped, raped, or stoned to death. Apathy or turning a blind eye has let these crimes go unchecked for too long. Now it's time to do something and stop these ancient customs and traditions. As I said earlier, we are no longer living in the Stone Age.
@Saleem: Yeah sure . Muhammad Bin Qasim, the defender of women .. You sir need this warrior to reappear out of the mists of time and re-convert all of us again. Failing this, you could possibly try and recall Nasim Hijazi from the grave. Our shabby and rotten myths sustain the ragged and laughable sense of honor, history and culture that we espouse. All of Pakistan needs a GIANT epiphany. Scotty beam 'em up.
@Naeem Khan Manhattan,Ks:
Buddy, Worse things happen in India and Pakistan has less crimes towards women. That is what is reported in papers.
So much so for honor and respect of women in the great Islamic Republic of Pakistan. These monsters need to get out of the stone age and realize that they are now living in the 21st century. A fair punishment would be to allow the poor women to return the favor publically.
@Saleem: Muhammad bin Qasim apparently attacked this country to save a woman being dishonoured and brought Islam here.
You still buy that crap?
16 year old is a child, not a woman. Can our NWFP governor pay a visit? He belongs to the same area.
@disgrace you were pointing fingers at india seems you forgot to see your own paper cases daily.
i am not sure why if these women were qadyanis or shia the media will start talking about how oppressed they are because the minority rights, even though the minorities in pakistan are much better shape than majority. however, and like in this case, when the victims are sunnis there is no mention of how oppressed sunni majority in pakistan is
@Omer: Stop living in Dream world.........Islam is no where in PAKISTAN........The custodians of ISLAM use it for their own purpose and the Custodian of Govt. claims to be ISLAMIC but don't understand the word ISLAM (which means subservient to one GOD i.e. ALLAH)
Thank God i dont marry a paki guy
What happened Pakistan and Pakistani people Is there any gentleman left.. Men are animal in Pakistan Pakistani poor women, God help them...
It is time that the rubber stamped National Assembly pass a bill to put these deranged people for 30years or more in the jail with out any mercy. It has been going on for quite a while through out Pakistan and nothing being done in the National Assembly. Perhaps severe punishment may deter these people who has complete disregard for female population of Pakistan. They should not forget that it could also happen to their daughters, wives and sisters. I am so outraged. I am grateful to the mass media and specially to ET for bringing this heinous crime to the forefront of the nation.
I felt sick to read this.
Pakistan probably has the higest number of madrassas and mullahs per capita, but appears to be one of the most morally challenged places.
The ladies should be given counselling; they have not lost any honour, but the evil perpatrators have.
Can we please have Qaid-E-Azam's Pakistan back!
Muhammad bin Qasim apparently attacked this country to save a woman being dishonoured and brought Islam here. And look what happens every other day to women in Islamic republic of Pakistan. What a great progress.
@Omer: I think all Muslim countries should remove any mention of Islamic in their constitutions or names - the daily rapes and abuse in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and countless Muslim states and the daily humiliation of women is horrible.
Horrible crime. We need to reform backward social norms through both law/punishments and education.
Well done KP police on arresting the culprits within a day! Now they should be convicted asap.
And we are living in Islamic Republic of Pakistan... Its time to remove the word Islamic from the name of Pakistan... as on daily basis we are portraying a wrong picture of Islam infront of whole world... and whats the future of these girls now in our society... only GOD can help us...
I cant get it. Did ET report this incident late or was the KPK police too quick to jail the culprits?? confused.
