Combined effort: Police, CPLC join hands against crimes
Sindh Police and the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) have decided to work together to solve crime.

Sindh Police and the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) have decided to work together to solve crime cases in the city. A delegation of Sindh Police, headed by AIG Ghulam Qadir Thebo, met CPLC chief Ahmed Chinoy and other supervisors on Wednesday. Both groups shared their knowledge over the law and order issues, including illegal business of stolen phones and electronic items, illegal SIM cards, illegal immigrants, katchi abadis mapping and street crimes. They also exchanged views about target killing, kidnappings and extortion. CPLC officials briefed the visiting team about their efforts to increase awareness on community policing. They also talked about giving free schooling and medical facilities for police families. DIG South, DIG East, SSP South, SSP Anti Violent Crime Cell and SSP Special Investigation Unit were also part of the delegation.
